From my vantage point at the front desk where I greet patients, I love seeing smiling faces come through the doors. Our patients’ enthusiasm and excitement about their new smiles is contagious. Over the years, I have developed friendships with our patients and their families. I have enjoyed watching patients grow more confident and happy as treatment proceeds. My job is to help patients schedule appointments that are convenient for them. I am in charge of keeping the master schedule that tracks what each of our assistants and doctors are doing. I also handle incoming calls and follow up on recall patients. Spending my days being surrounded by smiles makes me love my job!
Outside of work, I love time with my two boys, Kyle and Ryan, my family, and friends. I like to cook and bake, and enjoy traveling, bike riding, and walking.
My favorite part of my job is building relationships with patients: getting to know each as a person. Watching a person I care about achieve the healthiest, happiest smile makes me happy. I welcome new patients and families to the practice, show them around the office, and get them started on their orthodontic journey. I take initial photos, review treatment plans, and answer questions. I also handle financial questions, set up payment plans, and verify insurance. Starting orthodontic treatment can be a little overwhelming, so I am here to take care of all of the details and help get you started. My job is to help remove any obstacles between you and your future smile. I want patients to feel comfortable and at home here.
Outside of work, I spend time with my daughter and our four crazy dogs. I love being outdoors, especially boating and at the beach. I like working out and trying new gyms, too.
Certified Orthodontic Assistant / Clinical Coordinator
I feel lucky to work in a practice where we make our patients laugh while creating their new smiles. Every day we get to see how having a healthy and beautiful smile increases a person’s confidence and happiness! Each patient is important to us; we’ll do all we can to make sure everyone has a great orthodontic experience. I have been working in the dental field for more than 15 years and, like our doctors, have training in multiple techniques. I offer chairside assistance, so I can support Dr. Liz and Dr. Amy with procedures. As the clinical coordinator, I help manage the day and keep the clinic running smoothly. I also run our in-office orthodontic lab and order clinical supplies.
My home life revolves around my very busy son, Gavin, and my wonderful long-term boyfriend. I enjoy teaching boot camps and working out, and I love skiing and hiking.
Certified Orthodontic Assistant / Social Media Coordinator
Many patients start orthodontics feeling insecure about their teeth. They don’t like to smile and are self-conscious and unhappy. Every day, I see our patients begin to feel better about themselves: As they see their appearance change, their self-esteem and confidence grow. By the time they finish their new smile, they’re so happy and comfortable with themselves! I have been working in the orthodontic field for more than 17 years. I support the patient, carry out the doctor’s prescribed treatment, and educate patients on how to get the best possible result from their treatment. I love managing the practice’s social media, so if you haven’t liked us on Facebook or followed us on Instagram, make sure you do and let me know how I’m doing.
When I’m not at the office, I love being with my spouse, two kids, and two well-adored rescue fur babies. I also like shopping, fishing, reading, history, and watching football.
Certified Orthodontic Assistant
I love watching a patient’s personality and self-confidence grow as the person’s teeth shift and their smile changes. Our patients are excited to get a new smile and that excitement grows the nearer they get to the finish line. The braces-off appointment is my favorite visit! I assist Dr. Liz and Dr. Amy with bonding and removing braces. I also change archwires, fit bands, and take impressions. I always make sure our patients feel welcome and informed during visits.
I’m engaged to my high-school sweetheart and we share our lives with our poodle, Zenya. We love time outdoors, especially at the beach, and recently bought a kayak!
Laboratory Technician and Certified Orthodontic Assistant
I enjoy talking with patients, hearing about their lives, and sharing in their adventures. No matter the patient’s age, people are excited about starting treatment: watching their life change with a new smile is always incredible! I work in our onsite lab: pouring orthodontic impressions, fabricating appliances including lingual retainers, deprogrammers, splints and palatal expanders. I also assist both doctors in the clinic with patients when needed.
I’m currently finishing my college prerequisites so I can apply to dental school in the near future and become a dentist myself. I love being with my family and friends and playing with my two rescue puppies. I enjoy reading, walking, and going to the movies.
